| Trine Targett: |
Trine Targett, Danish born but has spent most of her life in Asia. She started her career in advertising working for BBDO and other agencies where she gained adept knowledge of building brands. Following her dream and instinct, she moved to China in 1997 intensively learning Chinese while thoroughly researching the ability to start a design company.
She subsequently founded Jooi Design in 1999 starting out with a small range of evening bags. With a passion for design, art and culture, she is actively involved in leading the design team and managing their operations in Shanghai and Asia.
